1. Where can I buy payslips, and how much do they cost?
Payroll Manager will actually print payslips directly onto plain paper, in a variety of different layouts, and in 'customizable' colours - so there is no need to buy pre-printed forms if you don't wish to. Examples can be found on our payslips page.
If you do wish to purchase pre-printed payslips, then you can do so from a number of stationers. We don't sell them ourselves, but we can recommend a company called Form Factory, who sell a variety of different layouts which are designed to work with Moneysoft Payroll Manager. Their website gives full details on prices.
Payroll Manager will also print directly onto standard 'Sage' and 'Iris' payslips - so if you already have a stock of those you should find that you can continue to use them.
2. Which layout of P60 do I need to order from HMRC?
Traditionally, P60s were printed out onto official HMRC stationery before being issued to each employee at the end of the tax year. There are a number of alternatives:
a) Moneysoft Payroll Manager P60s are accredited by HMRC, and as such can be printed in either black-and-white or colour onto plain paper - so no stationery is needed.
b) From 2011-12 it is acceptable to issue P60s in an electronic format to each employee. Payroll Manager can produce pdf copies of each P60, which you can then email to each employee if you wish.
c) If you wish to print onto HMRC pre-printed forms, then you need to order P60(SingleSheet/Shortened) forms via the HMRC order form. These are normally available about 1 month before the end of the tax year.
d) Form Factory produce 'Hand-Seal' and 'Machine-Seal' P60s which can be purchased from them for use with Moneysoft Payroll Manager.
