HMRC Online Filing and Service Issues

From time to time HMRC is unable to accept online submissions - either due to a scheduled update to their systems, or sometimes because of unforeseen problems with the Government Gateway. If we become aware of such problems we will publish them here.

Delayed response for PAYE submissions from Tuesday 3 April 18:00 to Friday 13 April 18:00 -  Due to a scheduled upgrade to HMRC systems, all submissions for PAYE will experience a delay in online acknowledgements. The acknowledgments will be sent between 11 and 13 April. If you send a PAYE return (e.g. P35, P45 etc.) during this period, then your Payroll Manager software will show that the submission is 'outstanding', which means that it is waiting for the HMRC acknowledgment message. You will need to check for a response to your submission sometime after 11 April 2012. See HMRC service issues for further details.
