Will Payroll Manager do online filing? - Yes - you can file all of your End-Of-Year returns (P35, P14) and In-Year returns (P45, P46) directly through the software, as well as P11d, CIS300 and CIS verifications.
Is it accredited to HMRC ? - Yes - Payroll Manager has full HMRC PAYE recognition.
How much are your payslips / stationery? - We don't sell payslips ourselves. Payroll Manager can print payslips in many different layouts, either onto plain paper, to PDF, or to pre-printed stationery if you prefer. (We recommend Form Factory if you wish to buy pre-printed forms). Payroll Manager can print HMRC approved P45s and P60s directly onto plain paper, or to PDF, so no special stationery is required.
Can I use the software to process the payroll for previous years? - Yes. The software is continuously updated so that is able to process the current tax year, plus all previous years going back to 1992/3.
What about updates for new tax bands etc? - Payroll Manager is updated at various intervals throughout the year (approximately every 2 months) via automatic downloads from our website, so the software is always up to date with the latest legislation.
Do I have to pay extra to process P11ds and CIS Returns? - No, all versions of Payroll Manager can handle the calculation and online filing of P11d Expenses & Benefits and CIS 300 monthly returns and subcontractor verifications should you need these facilities, at no extra cost.
Do you send a disc? - No, everything is done online - the software is downloaded directly from our website. Should you need to re-install the program for any reason, you can do this at any time by re-downloading.
Can I use it on more than one computer? - Each licence is sold for a single user - however, it is quite normal and acceptable for this user to install the software on more than one computer (e.g. one at work, one at home) for their own use, using the same User Licence Code.
Will it work on Windows 7 and 8 ? - Yes, Payroll Manager is compatible with all versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Does it work on a Mac? - No - Our software is only designed to operate on Windows operating systems.
What about Real Time Information (RTI)? - HMRC is introducing a new system of payroll reporting from April 2013 called 'Real Time Information' (RTI). This new system is being phased in by HMRC, so that different employers will join the scheme at different times. Payroll Manager will be updated accordingly to allow a seamless transition to the new system without the need to install new software or for additional data input.
